1. First Time Eating KFC#

Today, while playing with my baby, I ordered two servings of KFC's New Orleans wings. Watching my child enjoy it happily, I couldn't help but reminisce about my own experiences.

Before graduating from college, I had only eaten KFC once.

That was during high school when my cousin married a girl from a county town. My sister-in-law's family was in real estate, and their financial situation didn't quite match ours; it was she who took us out to eat.

My brother ordered a family bucket, and it felt like a celebration. Although my brother and his ex-sister-in-law have since separated, I still appreciate her for introducing me to KFC and for letting me know that such delicious food exists in the world.

My younger brother was there too, and he casually remarked that it wasn't tasty. My brother replied, "You should have said so earlier; we haven't even finished eating." In the 2010s, KFC was a rarity in our hometown. At that time, my brother and sister-in-law were very much in love, and my sister-in-law was especially fond of us siblings since we came from the countryside.

After going to college, I still couldn't afford KFC, but there was a cheaper alternative called Wallace. Once, I ordered 50 yuan worth of Wallace at my ex-boyfriend's house, and he complained, "You really know how to spend money; just don't let my dad see."

That 50 yuan was a significant amount for us back then.

We secretly finished the Wallace burgers in his room, and they were incredibly delicious, leaving me feeling happy as I burped.

But it was clear that my ex-boyfriend and I were not on the same path; he thought that such a large sum of money shouldn't be spent on food like that, while my taste buds knew better what kind of life I wanted.

Eating KFC Again#

After starting work, I got a job at a clothing store. The manager was from Anhui, and they loved eating noodles, but I found them hard to swallow and even a bit nauseating. Once, while eating pickled vegetable and shredded pork noodles, I found a fly in my dish. When I reported it to the plump aunt, she casually said, "It's fine; flies have protein." I helplessly paid for it. 😭

On days when I didn't bring lunch, I would order work meals. At that time, KFC's work meal was about 18 or 20 yuan, always paired with a Coke. I couldn't bear to order my favorite New Orleans wings separately, but if there was a combo, I would splurge to reward myself.

At that time, my monthly salary was 3,500 yuan. After working for six months, I saved up to buy a washing machine and a color TV for my family, earning the recognition of the village elders, who thought I was doing well outside.

But I was struggling; I hated taking the bus because it made me carsick. Every day commuting, especially when leaving for the late shift in the afternoon, I felt particularly depressed.

2. Entering the Crypto World and Saying Goodbye to KFC#

At the end of 2015, I met my first boss and took a Didi ride in his BMW. At that time, Didi had just entered the Nanjing market, and a ride only cost a little over 2 yuan, while a bus ride was 2 yuan one way and 4 yuan if you had to transfer, so naturally, I chose Didi.

Later, this boss thought I was willing to share. I had taken a course on Amway and was taking his car home afterward. He believed that my ability to accept that kind of course indicated a high openness to things, which meant I could also accept the crypto world or financial schemes.

At that time, my boss was using the crypto world for financial schemes. I had just graduated and didn't understand these things, but I would diligently entertain his clients during meetings.

During a business exchange, my boss introduced Bitcoin and Ethereum for the first time, and I was intrigued. Ethereum had dropped from over 20 yuan to 3 yuan, and the market was in despair, but then it skyrocketed to over 800 yuan (I might remember the details incorrectly). After my first encounter with the exchange Yunbi, I went home and Baidu'd how to deposit and withdraw funds.

Unfortunately, in the second half of 2016 to 2017, I missed a 20 million opportunity in my life. At that time, Yunbi had coins like SC that were a thousand times over, and I was almost among the top 100 holders on the entire network, but I exited midway.

The crypto world ignited my greed, and from then on, I looked down on working life. I participated in a semi-pyramid scheme course, spending about 80,000 yuan. How could someone with a monthly salary of 3,500 yuan afford that? By borrowing, using credit cards, and online loans, I fell into a debt hell for the next few years.

I borrowed 30,000 yuan, and within a year, I had to repay over 50,000 yuan to Yiren Loan, which I still vividly remember.

Later, the company that promised success after completing the course went bankrupt, but people like me were drained: the boss went bankrupt, students got divorced, and young people like me were burdened with debt.

In the course, I also met a scumbag who tricked me into a fake forex scheme in 2017, causing me and my friends to lose over 100,000 yuan.

At this point, I had lost the qualification to eat KFC.

After finishing my university internship and returning to attend the graduation ceremony, I swallowed hard as I passed by the KFC entrance and confided in a small group to my elders, "I really want to indulge in a KFC meal."

An older sister was willing to give me 50 yuan to enjoy it, but I politely declined.

3. Days Without the Qualification to Eat KFC#

Borrowing 80,000 to Go All In on #EOS#

In a time of heavy debt and despair, the bull market in the crypto world arrived in 2017. After the 94 incident, many cryptocurrencies surged hundreds or thousands of times. My EOS on the exchange increased tenfold, earning me several tens of thousands, which opened up a new perspective for me.

Seeing Through People When Borrowing Money#

At that time, everyone praised me for having potential and being willing to contribute, but when I borrowed money, a once-gentle older sister suddenly changed her tone: "I'm at KTV and can't hear you; I don't have money to lend you, ask someone else." She had once felt sorry for me and even wanted to throw 5,000 yuan my way. This change was disheartening; sigh, let's not mention it.

Deciding to Borrow 80,000 Online#

I found a young person online who actively helped me with loans, and he could cut the interest.

Fortunately, a senior brother who was a representative and ambassador in the Chinese ICP area came to see me in Nanjing and directly lent me 50,000 yuan, advising me not to borrow from high-interest loans.

He was from Shandong, and I am still grateful to him. But later, I remained poor, and the Ethereum private placement ICP I participated in with him delayed issuing tokens. During the bear market for several years, my senior brother also ran out of money and came to collect debts from me. At that time, I had just become pregnant and was unable to repay my debts, feeling truly sorry for him.

After ICP issued tokens, deducting the private placement portion offset 50,000 yuan of debt. But my brother's heart was deeply hurt, and we lost contact from then on.

Thus, my first pot of gold came from ICP, but the debt was still not fully cleared.

During this time, in 2018, I attended the EOS conference hosted by Captain Wang at the Nanjing Youth Olympic Games, where the famous three-wave theory conference of the crypto world was born, and I decided to go all in on EOS.

Encouraged by me, my ex-boyfriend borrowed 300,000 yuan to invest in the crypto world. From then on, there was a pair of ill-fated lovers in the crypto world.

After losses, our relationship fell apart, and we eventually broke up.

4. Once Again Qualified to Eat KFC#

With over 300,000 yuan in debt, I went to Shanghai to seek fortune.

I carried foot-soaking water for a year.

That year was the most intense period of my learning; I took the subway every day to listen to Ni Haixia's traditional Chinese medicine courses.

The commute took over four hours: walking for more than ten minutes to take the light rail to Line 9, transferring to Line 3 and then Line 1, and walking for another ten minutes to the company.

It was very tough; during the journey, I listened to Ni Haixia's courses like "Ren Ji" and "Tian Ji" through my headphones, and my ears even developed pimples.

For lunch, I ate convenience store meals from Family Mart or mooched off my colleagues' food.

Once, the manager deliberately ate delicious food next to me, and I swallowed hard.

During my time at the store, the company thrived and was extremely busy. The boss ordered takeout as a reward for us, and it was very exquisite. The boss was from Shanghai and paid attention to detail.

When there was an extra cake, the boss asked, "What should we do?" He exchanged smiles with another founder and said, "Let's give it to someone; she will definitely want it."

Guess what?

I accepted it, but not because I wanted to eat cake; it was because I couldn't bear to waste food while diligently practicing Buddhism, so I accepted it with a sense of righteousness. 😊

But it also came with a bittersweet feeling.

Debt Prevents Wedding

Later, I secretly got married and didn't dare tell my boss, fearing being fired. At that time, my monthly salary was around 6,000 yuan, with five insurances and one fund. I thought it was a good job, but I had to use my salary to pay off debts, and my five-day wedding leave was of no use.

With over 300,000 yuan in debt, I naturally had no money for a wedding. Writing this brings tears to my eyes; those days were so hard that I couldn't even afford a wedding.

Half a year after getting married, I became pregnant. While examining patients' tongues, I felt nauseous, not realizing I was pregnant. When serving clients foot-soaking water, my hands trembled, and the manager thought I was being dramatic.

At a critical time, a colleague who was pregnant went home, and I felt dizzy every day on the subway, almost fainting. I had no choice but to confess to my boss that I was pregnant. The boss felt deceived.

On the way back to Nanjing, the train attendant pushed me out of the station in a wheelchair because my morning sickness was too severe.

When I learned I was pregnant, I cried: over 300,000 yuan in debt, how could I raise a child?

But it was this child who brought me good fortune in the crypto world.

The turning point had arrived.

5. The Rabbit's Opportunity for a Comeback#

Unable to work during my pregnancy, I returned to the crypto world.

By this time, the crypto world had undergone a change; Yunbi had disappeared, and Binance, Huobi, and OKEx had risen.

Poor EOS continued to decline; anyone who dollar-cost-averaged into EOS was a big fool. However, all my bad luck in this life was spent holding EOS, and the rest of my life was filled with good fortune.

Binance's Bull Market#

From the explosive growth of Ethereum DeFi to the wave of Tron, then to Huobi Chain, and finally Binance Chain.

I missed the previous rounds, but by the time I played with meme coins on Binance Chain, I had experience.

In this round, I completely paid off my debts and accumulated assets above A7.

My past debts made me cautious; with capital, I no longer dared to act recklessly.

From then on, I had the qualification to eat KFC whenever I wanted.

But at 30, my figure changed, and I started dieting, so I could only watch my baby eat while swallowing hard myself. 😂😂😂

🔥 Solving the Issue of Accessing OKX Exchange in China#

Many exchanges' original domain names may be blacklisted, or access speed may be affected due to servers being located overseas. For ordinary users, this situation often leaves them feeling helpless, even doubting whether the exchange itself has issues. In reality, this is more about the network environment rather than a service interruption on the platform itself. To address this, exchanges like OKX and Binance typically update their backup domain names regularly to ensure users can continue accessing the official website through alternative addresses.
